Modern Paper Dolls
Author: Jenny Kim
When I was young, I remember, my mom and I used to play with paper dolls. She would teach me how to draw dolls on thick cardboard. Also, together, we made tiny pieces of clothing made up of light but colorful papers.
As time goes on, I started to grow older and my fondness for paper dolls also grew paler. But recently when I was browsing the web together with my niece, we found this really cute dress up games site. I have to admit, the first time I saw the games, I remember my childhood days right away. Those days when I was playing with my paper dolls.
I was just so amazed about this new technology. With just a click of mouse, you can easily mix and match your doll's clothes. Even their hair, eyes and make up can be changed. I remember before, I am extra careful with my dolls whenever I change their clothes to avoid wearing and tearing them apart. But now, even if I'll change their clothes for hundred times, it won't be worn out.
I guess kids nowadays are really lucky to have this kind of technology. They don't have to deal with all the mess of drawing, cutting and coloring their paper dolls.
